App + extension, together.

Ekami is sideloaded. It is not listed in the Mac App Store, Chrome Web Store or Edge Add-ons. The Chromium extension is loaded unpacked in Chrome, Edge or Brave.

  1. Install the matching desktop app. Public downloads will appear above when they are ready for public use.
  2. Connect your browser. On Mac use Settings → Browsers → Install browser host. Load the matching unpacked extension in your browser’s Extensions page.
  3. Check the connection. Leave Ekami running, reload the extension after an upgrade, then open its toolbar popup.

Existing owner-test builds have separate installation instructions. For the currently usable macOS path and browser connection guidance, see Help. Open media manager from the popup for the full-page view.

The complete Windows desktop application is still in progress as a public production release. The Windows preview still needs more testing on Windows 10 and 11 PCs.
