Media stays local.

Ekami does not upload your videos, files, browser cookies or watch history as part of downloading. Downloads, remuxing and the saved library run on your computer. Browser credentials are used in the local native-host/extractor path and redacted from saved queue snapshots.

Your account and license

The account service is designed to store your email, identity, orders, license entitlements, device assignments and related support records in AWS when the platform is deployed. Device activation sends the license reference, persistent installation identifier and operating-system platform. These records are used to enforce plan and device limits. Deactivation removes an active assignment; financial and license issuance records may need to be retained.

Payments

When checkout is enabled, our merchant of record handles payment details, invoices and payment processing. Ekami receives the order and subscription information needed to deliver and manage your license. Card details are not entered into the desktop app.

Support is voluntary.

Ticket messages and attachments you choose to send are stored separately from local media. Do not include cookies, passwords, complete license keys or private signed links. Attachments are limited to 10 MiB, quarantined for scanning and retained for 90 days after ticket closure. Operational logs are retained for 30 days.

Updates and diagnostics

Version and helper checks contact the update service when requested. Public update downloads are not available yet. The desktop has no analytics, crash reporter or advertising identifier. Diagnostic export is a local action; an export is only uploaded if you submit it to support.

Your choices

Request an account export or deletion in Account → Settings. Deletion requests are reviewed by the owner and may preserve records required for lawful financial or security purposes. Request status remains visible in your account until access is removed. These requests do not delete files on your computer.
