BUILT FOR THE WAY YOU KEEP

A small app.
A complete journey.

Find supported media, save it locally, and keep the result organized. Here is what the current desktop candidate does.

01 / BROWSER

Catch the right moment.

The Chromium popup and full-page Media Manager show captured media, quality options and active downloads. Optional controls over videos can be enabled in View options.

Signed-in capture uses the player’s browser context. A pasted desktop link does not borrow browser credentials.

02 / DESKTOP

Stay in the loop.

Queue supported video or direct HTTP files. Follow progress and use pause, resume, cancel and recovery controls.

Review a single link before sending it, or preview up to 100 pasted links with invalid-link and duplicate feedback.

03 / LIBRARY

Find your way back.

Search your saved library, inspect properties and reveal files. Play saved media with the desktop’s playback tools.

The library and output files remain local. Your account does not mirror your media library.

WHAT WORKS WHERE

Make the limits
part of the picture.

Ekami handles supported HLS, DASH, progressive media and direct HTTP(S) files. Personal and Family add supported watch-page extraction, including YouTube, Instagram, TikTok and X.

Site changes, login requirements, expiring links and unsupported formats can prevent a download. Ekami refuses DRM-protected media and live or sliding-window recording.

Mac is the current local-use desktop path. Windows remains an unsigned desktop preview pending consumer-PC acceptance and production signing.
